Retainer Services. My services include phone and e-mail access for questions on welfare benefit plans, including compliance issues involving welfare plans. Questions frequently involve PPACA and related Health Care Reform laws, COBRA, FMLA, HIPAA, HSAs, HRAs, other health care legislation on the state level, as well as related questions on such matters as domestic partner/civil union laws.
Legislative Updates. My retainer also includes access to my legislative updates. I produce between 20 and 25 updates per year driven by new legislation, publication of regulations, case law, etc. which are written for distribution to broker clients and prospects.
Welfare Benefits and Audit Guidelines. I also produce an annual comprehensive treatise: Welfare Benefit Plans and Audit Guidelines, to assist brokers in serving their existing clients and to assist in client prospecting.
Access to Website Library.Retainer clients may access my website to obtain copies of older legislative updates, links to various IRS, DOL, and HHS regulations, summaries of various state laws, and sample notices and documents (including but not limited to PPACA, HIPAA and COBRA model notices).
